By entering this space, I as an artist agree to the following:

• I agree to acknowledge and nurture my inner light.

• I agree to acknowledge and allow space for my fellow movers to nurture their inner light.

• I agree to meet myself where I am today, and tend to my physical and mental wellbeing as needed throughout my time in this space.

• I agree to acknowledge & honor the indigenous land that we dance on today.

• I agree to seek active consent before engaging in physical contact.

• I agree to respect the work of my fellow movers.

• I agree to respect the privacy of my fellow movers.

• I agree to respect the identities & beliefs of my fellow movers.

• I agree to treat myself with the same respect and kindness that I extend to my fellow movers.
  
  

WHY DO WE DO THIS?
JHDC views accessibility and social responsibility through the lens of practice and routine, a series of intentional actions sewn into our work. Through these practices, we foster a consistently accessible and inclusive environment ready to receive the diverse community which we serve and advocate for as we continue to awaken the dancer in everyone’s soul.
