Master Class with Jarrett Rashad

Come ready to grab industry insight straight from the source… one of Las Vegas’s most in demand performers is ready to share his knowledge.

JHD alumnus Jarrett Rashad, currently a cast member of The Lion King at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, is returning to Chicago for a master class right here at JHDC! The class will be on Sunday, May 20th, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, with a discussion session to follow. The cost will be $30 for the class, or $40 for class + discussion. NATO weekend reminder

The NATO summit will be in Chicago during the weekend of May 19th-21st. While traffic delays and road closures are anticipated, we will be open for our regular classes and for the master class with Jarrett Rashad. Trains will continue to run throughout the summit weekend; however, for those driving to the center, the following alternate routes are recommended:

If you are driving from the South use:
- Ashland
- Racine
If you are driving from the North use:
- Ridge
- Sheridan Rd
- Clark
If you are driving from the West use:
- Peterson
- Irving Park
- Addison
- Foster

Memorial Day Holiday

On Monday, May 28th, we will be open for adult classes only, in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. Youth classes will resume on Tuesday, May 29th.

We did it!

Congratulations to dancers in all divisions who participated in our spring concerts on April 28th! We sold out three shows, and filled the others nearly to the brim, and we gave each and every member of the audience a show to remember.

Summer I registration is still open!

The Summer I term has started – however, registration is still open for youth division classes. The Summer I term runs from now until July 8th – don’t miss out! Register now for classes in the preschool, elementary, and teen divisions.
