The Joel Hall Dancers professional company is hosting virtual auditions for our Juneteenth concert performance at the Reva and David Logan Center for the Arts. This performance will include new works by Joel Hall and the Joel Hall Dancers Artistic Team as well as repertory works of the company. 

Dancers will be paid for all rehearsals and the June 19, 2021 performance. 

Rehearsals will begin the week of March 15, 2021 with 2 rehearsals per week for a total of 26 rehearsals. Rehearsals will be a combination of virtual and in-person with a maximum of 5 dancers per work. In-person rehearsals will strictly comply with all city, state and federal COVID-19 mandates.  

Dancers will also have access to Joel Hall Dancers & Center virtual live-stream and on-demand dance training classes for the duration of the contract. 

Technical rehearsals will be held at the Reva and David Logan Center for the Arts on Friday, June 18, 2021 from 9 AM - 9 PM. 

Dancers must be available from 9 AM - 9 PM on both Friday, June 18 and Saturday, June 19, 2021.

To audition, please upload a resume, headshot and 3 minute dance reel by February 16, 2021. No calls or emails, please.
Callbacks will be notified by February 23, 2021. Classes must be completed by February 28, 2021.

In consideration of the current pandemics, there is no fee to audition. 
All applications will be acknowledged.
