How do I get to the dance center?

Joel Hall Dancers & Center is located at 5965 N. Clark St. in Chicago. It is easily accessible by CTA buses and trains; nearby routes include the 22 Clark, the 84 Peterson, and the Red Line (Thorndale stop).

The nearest Metra stop is Rogers Park on the Union Pacific North line. Once at the stop, walk one block east to Clark and take the CTA 22 Clark bus southbound to Elmdale/Peterson.

Metered street parking is widely available near the center.

 

Where can I buy dance clothes?
At any local dancewear store – there is one near our studio called
Chicago Dance Supply
5301 N. Clark St. 2nd Floor (773.728.5344)

 

Is there a refund policy?
Tuition is non-refundable, except in the event of serious injury or long-term illness. Request for medical credit must be made in writing and be accompanied by a physician’s certificate. All refunds will be charged a $15 administration fee.

 

How old does my child have to be?
Tiny Dancers ages range from 18-36 months old. Pre school ages range from 3-6 years old. Elementary division classes are for ages 7-11, and Teen division classes are for ages 12-17.

 
What are the policies on dress and behavior for youth division classes?
Complete information for any parent of a child in our youth division can be found in our Parent Information Packet (PDF).
 

What are the age limits for the adult division classes?
Adult classes can start at the age of 13 years old to any age after that.

 

When can I start classes?
 Students may begin Adult classes at any time. Youth Division students start classes at the beginning of each term or may enter mid-term with approval of the instructor.
