YOUTH CLASS RATES

Youth Division Terms:

Spring Session: March 4 – May 12
Summer I Session: May 13 – July 7

8 week term fees include class participation and end of term skill evaluation.

Preschool Ages 2-3 (30 minute class)

ADULT DROP-IN CLASS PRICES

REGULAR CLASS RATES:

CLASS CARDS may be used for any JHDC adult class, except specialty classes. Cards must be used within the term purchased and only by the purchaser. Class cards may be extended only with doctor´s notice.

Note: Only the $15 adult rate, the $10 student rate, and the $9 resident company rate are payable for the Latin Dance Classes. All other dance rates do not apply.

Professionals:  $11/class
Professional 10 class card: $100 (valid 2 months)

Professionals are members of Equity/EMC, AGMA, AFTRA, SAG, (Union card required) or any Chicago-based professional DANCE COMPANY. An original signed letter from the artistic director on company letterhead must be provided to keep on file. Professional status must be renewed annually.

Resident company members:  $9/class

(Resident company rate applies to members of companies rehearsing in residence at JHDC)

JHD Instructors (with no other affiliations to Joel Hall Dancers & Center) receive 8 complimentary classes per term (8 weeks). After that, the per class rate is $8 per class.

 

JHDC ECONOMIC PLAN:
This program is to help those who might otherwise have to give up their involvement in dance due to unemployment. It ensures that no person is excluded.

For adults: UWIT: Unemployed Workers In Transition affords participants a single class rate of $8.

For children: UFIT: Unemployed Families In Transition participants will receive 25% off the regular class term.

Requirements:

1. UWIT & UFIT participants must prove citizenship and provide monthly letters from the unemployment services to be eligible.

2. The program will last as long as the student is unemployed and end one month after 1st paycheck from employer.

3. Participants are required to take at least 1 class per week during unemployment and must follow all standard JHDC protocol, rules, and regulations.
